In one of the most stunning natural environments in the world, the establishment has 17,000 hectares of countryside and it is located steps from El Calafate downtown. It is an ideal place to relax and enjoy the scenery at the foot of the Cerro Calafate, breathing the purest patagonian air.
After we pick you up at your hotel in El Calafate, we will welcome you in the estancia with mate and fried cakes to, then, walk to the path Arroyo Calafate.
Afterwards, you can participate of the traditional activity of patagonian sheep herding with dogs and visit the old shearing shed and yards of the estancia. There will be a demonstration of sheep shearing and, finally, the staff will guide you to the restaurant “The Quincho” where you can have lunch or dinner. For starter you will have Creole turnovers, marinades and stews. Enjoy a main course of grilled roasted patagonian lamb accompanied by other courts and the organic garden salads. For dessert we offer homemade custard with caramel and coffee or tea finishing with a folk show performed by local artists and a tour through the country dances.
Around 22:30 Pm the excursion ends undertaking the journey back to your hotel.
